Autism Advocacy and Us

Face Value Cover - Autism Advocacy and Us

Face Value #1 tells ONE creative story about a young man (Michael) with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis. Start with fantastic steam-powered airships, sentient robots, and threats of global alien invasion.

Next, add typical middle school challenges like bullying, test anxieties, and pre-teen romance. We understand our responsibility to uphold the individual dignity of persons with autism and other issues, like depression. Therefore, we carefully weave real-world experiences into an entertaining story. Sometimes, our heroes fail. Like anyone, Michael and his friends make mistakes. However, Face Value emphasizes social learning, making our characters true heroes in a fight against prejudice.
